One afternoon while Mike was out of session, we decided to go on a walk through the wineries. We took the tram up the mountain and expected to have a nice stroll down the mountain vineyards, sipping wine along the way. Well, the mountain was a little steeper than we imagined (our shoes were not up to the challenge) and, of course, we got lost. We spent two hours wandering through the vineyards, going up and down hills in our attempt to get back. Mike even offered to call a taxi, but we laughingly realized - where would we tell him to come and pick us up? Finally, we found a little wine shop and got to experience a taste of the vineyards we were walking through. I'm not sure that wine is the most refreshing drink after a two hour hike, but it certainly did help our feet feel better as we continued down the mountain.
An amazing view over the city:
Still reading the map while we enjoyed the fruit of our labors.
